	Llantarnam Grange Art Centre is concerned with all aspects of organising and touring exhibitions. Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre’s touring exhibition packages offer an excellent opportunity to bring a diversity of expertise to your venue. The exhibitions are designed to present an exploration of ideas and materials with an accompanying publication, in an opportune package delivered straight to your venue. The host venue will be responsible for the insurance of the exhibition while it is in their possession and for onward/return transport. Barrett Danes - A Continuing Tradition
	A Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre Touring Exhibition Barrett-Danes: A Continuing Tradition is an exhibition charting the working practise of the Barrett-Danes family (Alan, Ruth and Jonathan) illustrating their role in the development of studio ceramics, whilst referencing the practice of Upchurch Pottery. Working jointly and individually Alan and Ruth Barrett-Danes made a major contribution to the development of studio ceramics in Britain. For the Barrett-Danes’, ceramics has been a tradition spanning six generations, dating back to the early 19th Century. Over many decades Alan and Ruth Barrett-Danes had passed on their skills and enthusiasm to generations of students, to appreciative audiences and to their son Jonathan. Exhibition Package Includes: 42 ceramic objects by Alan, Ruth, Alan & Ruth working jointly and Jonathan Barrett-Danes. 7 A2 black & white photographs mounted on foamex – illustrating Upchurch Pottery. Michael Organ - Written in the Landscape
	A Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre Touring Exhibition Michael Organ's work reflects his life long passion for the landscape of the South Wales valley's and its place in our conciousness. Its history, topography and place within the cultural psyche are all reflected within the work shown in "Written in the Landscape". Michael's affinity with painterly figuration and abstraction, and the narrative content of his work reflect his fascination with the written word in its broadest interpretation. The pictures in this exhibition contain dozens of layers both physically and metaphorically. The surface of the pieces are worked, reworked, scraped back and redrawn, over a period of months, creating dense burnished surfaces rendered in low relief, both building up a drawn/painted patina and etched back into it through sheer pressure.
