Nature and natural forms with underlying asymmetry and balance are becoming increasingly dominant themes in Kathryn’s work. Forms are enhanced with a vast palette of colour and texture. Inspiration inevitably still comes from the material itself - ‘the beauty of working with glass is its infinite possibilities.’ Her work is a reflection on her surroundings and state of mind – they are free, understated but confident with an unrestrained painterly quality.
