Amanda uses diverse materials in her work many of which she has collected from her time in London where she mudlarked on the Thames river foreshore. Now living in Wales she continues to gather found objects from the Welsh landscape, whether they be wood, glass, river stones or pottery.
All these materials are bound and stitched, combined with recycled silver and worked into bespoke items of jewellery, that not only connect to nature and landscape, but also tell a story of the communities that lived before us and the traces of their lives they have left behind.
